Today we’re here to share with you our current top 15 wedding design inspirations we’re loving here at the Destination Wedding Studio, inspired by our DWS couples, our time studying with the School of Styling, recent wedding style shoots, and our hours and hours of looking online through Real Wedding Galleries. And although the web and all things social media irrefutably conjure up a mix of love and hate in most people, we here at Destination Wedding Studio are forever grateful for the gifts that these avenues of inspiration (and distraction) are in our lives, most of the time that is. To be able to have so much information and inspiration so readily available was inconceivable not that many years ago. So today we’re celebrating technology. Here’s to being connected and inspired via the worldwide web! 1. Eucalyptus: because for us, there is truly no other plant that is quite as versatile. It works for just about every wedding theme imaginable. Most importantly, it is a statement piece alone, but just as impactful in collaboration. 2. Calligraphy: is a must! From invitations to escort cards to signage to seating charts to you name it, good calligraphy takes everything up a notch. And the best part, there are SO many fabulous calligraphers out there bringing their artistry to the wedding world and this makes us so happy, as it should you! 3. Watercolor: is calming and evocative. We are so excited to be sharing today’s post from DWS Digital Marketing Manager, Alex Cordoba, who scoured the net to bring you her top 12 awe-inspiring and artful wedding invitations. Every once in a while all that’s needed to make one’s wedding day complete is the perfect wedding reception table, good food, and the right people. Well today we’re here to share one of our favorite tables at one of our favorite venues where the motto was ‘sometimes less is more’, all around, and we think it completely delivered, thanks to the incredibly talented team of vendors: Flowers by J&J, Eventfully Yours, Michael on guitar, and to add icing on the cake, when Care Photography is behind the lens, well let’s just say everything about this sweet day was pretty much perfect in our eyes, and I’d bet our bride and groom would agree. I just returned from a nine day vacation in the Florida Keys, Key West, and Miami with one of my better halves, my mom, who just happens to be the heart and soul and principle stylist at Destination Wedding Studio. Together we embarked upon a tour of sorts, staying at some of our favorite hotels, dining at some restaurants, both on and off the beaten path, lounging at our Miami favorite, and as all women love, we had to squeeze in a little time for shopping! Over the course of nine days we barely saw a cloud in the sky and not until the very last day were we met with a sprinkle of rain. After our mini excursion, which included a few weddings and a two year old named Chase, and many many years of vacationing (and briefly living) in this part of the United States, I now have absolutely no doubts whatsoever why so many couples choose South Florida and the Florida Keys as their perfect place to say I Do!
