I just returned from a nine day vacation in the Florida Keys, Key West, and Miami with one of my better halves, my mom, who just happens to be the heart and soul and principle stylist at Destination Wedding Studio. Together we embarked upon a tour of sorts, staying at some of our favorite hotels, dining at some restaurants, both on and off the beaten path, lounging at our Miami favorite, and as all women love, we had to squeeze in a little time for shopping! Over the course of nine days we barely saw a cloud in the sky and not until the very last day were we met with a sprinkle of rain. After our mini excursion, which included a few weddings and a two year old named Chase, and many many years of vacationing (and briefly living) in this part of the United States, I now have absolutely no doubts whatsoever why so many couples choose South Florida and the Florida Keys as their perfect place to say I Do! It is absolutamente pure paradise! 1. Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa, 601 Front Street, Key West, FL This is how I began my vacation or work trip, whatever you want to call it: a glass of champagne, an ocean view, and a very very very comfortable bed. No more is needed to be said other than this place does it right! 2. Mallory Square Pier, 400 Wall Street, Key West, FL After a couple hours of working on our balcony overlooking the ocean it felt like time to head out into the wild and crazy world of the Key West living. We...

After all is said and done, when asked, “What was the most memorable part of their day?” most of our couples will respond without hesitation their ceremony. Perhaps it’s because upon remembering one’s wedding day, most of the day can seem like a blur, but the ceremony is the part of the day that asks the most from every bride and groom, it asks their full presence and nothing less. After months or even years of planning, when you finally stand across from your beloved and exchange your sacred vows and offer forth your ‘I do’, it’s as if all breath is being held and the whole world is standing still just for you. It’s unlike anything, which is why we’re such firm believers that your ceremony and it’s decor require the same consideration as your reception. Below are 10 wedding ceremony chair ideas for all brides, styles, and budgets. Remember, give your heart and it’s consideration to every part of the day and you will be forever grateful. Love to you and yours! 1. One Flower: We absolutely LOVE this idea! Depending on how large or small your wedding and what flower you choose, this is a pretty easy and affordable solution for most couples. Also, to add another layer of meaning to your ceremony, consider the meaning and significance, even the story behind the flower you choose. 2. Photos: To tell a visual story, create an aura of nostalgia, or for the photo aficionados, this is an easy, affordable, and unique decor solution! 3. A Pop of Color: For the minimalist out there, adding a single ribbon, ideally in one of your wedding colors, is a perfect solution...

Living in a state where we are blessed with the four seasons can in the middle of winter seem dreadful, yet as spring begins to offer us her bountiful blossoms and varying colors, it is utterly fantastic and well worth the wait! And right at this very moment, everything is beginning to bloom all around me. Morning runs and evening strolls are welcoming back hues all too quickly forgotten amidst winter’s gray, and lucky for me, right in my backyard are one of my absolute favorites- the lilac tree -which in many cultures symbolizes first LOVE. In honor of this tree native to my backyard and the beloved lavender (that’s just a couple months behind), here is some beautiful springtime wedding inspirations for your lilac + lavender inspired day. For the dress, I initially pulled in a glamorous light purple gown because any bride who dares to go on the side of purple for her wedding dress might as well feel bold and confident enough to go all the way. But I’m also always a sucker for a light and breezy gown, especially during warmer months or on the beach. However, no matter which way you go, bravo to the bride who dares to be different! 1. 2. 3. As for the bouquet, the sky is the limit! The bouquet is like your clutch. You could go classic, but when wearing a dress that’s just one color, I say the more creative, colorful, and spilling over the better. Let it be your special day’s ultimate accessory. If you’re not a flowery person by nature, on your wedding day, pretend. No one knows otherwise. That’s my motto!...
