A planner will "plan" the event. A Designer will create it.

I have always been in the design world. Desiging homes and weddings are
vary much alike.
Each takes concrete steps to build or create something. A home is
foundation, framing, mechanicals, and for
a wedding it's a location, catering, flowers, and music. The parts are always
the same... but its how you put
them together that makes the differene!!!

Whether you are planning a beach wedding in Key West, an Aspen wedding in
the mountains, or Cruising the Caribbean for your wedding, the dreams are
the same. How do you begin?

I approach your wedding as a collaboration effort between us. We begin by
asking a lot of questions. What do you like, how did you meet each other,
do you want a small intimate or large party! Do you have a big family or is
this just a very personal time for both you and a few intimate friends? I
want to get to know you both, because you want your wedding to be about who
you are, not a wedding that
"fits all".

Next, I do what many call a brainstorming session. I call it a
"lovestorming" where we exchange ideas and thoughts about your wedding. I
then take all ideas and create a "sketch" of suggestions for you to pick
from. As a designer, my job is to create ideas and help you to make
informed decisions that make your wedding all you have imagined!

I have nourished relationships with other "artists" that approach their
profession in a creative way and share my passion for excellence.

Because we work from a distance during the planning process, it is important
that I am able to design and understand your vision.

Often Brides and Grooms live far away and your busy lives don't allow you to
oversee every detail. You need someone that will help you to see them
through!!

I will gather contracts
Oversee design details
Work with venders on concepts
Suggest and advise places and timing for wedding events
Mmost of al I will work with you in planning the details!

I made a commitment to you long before we met, that I would give you my
Passion for making your wedding special and fun!!

Question for Peggy

Peggy, I want someone who knows me and is creative, but why don't you have
packages and can I do this in me budget?

Yes you can...I don't want your wedding to be put into a "ready made
package". You're unique and your wedding should reflect you both!

Packages don't allow you to select what is important for you. When you
design your wedding you are choosing how and where to spend your money. For
some it's the flowers and for others a great band! The choice should be
yours.

Being personal and having a creative approach to your wedding does not mean
you have to spend more, more wisely! It is not merely planning events, but
creating a feeling that sets your wedding apart.

Sometimes getting started is the hardest step, so please feel free to email
or call me with your thoughts...and lets see if we can get started!
